Concept, Design and Planning.

This is the most important stage of the build. TOHL Homes will discuss your ideas and goals to establish a relationship and common understanding of what will be achieved.

We look to establish a level of trust where you know without doubt TOHL Homes is the builder for you. From here we complete a Preliminary Services Agreement which will cover your planning, preliminary engineering and selections processes. If this eventuates to a fixed price contract the sums for insurances and necessary approvals will also be covered by the PSA.

Since no one project is the same, our design and planning consultant will then turn the concepts and ideas into reality on paper. With these concept plans we can work to provide an estimate of the project cost. Estimates are calculated using our high quality standard range of finishes.

Should you wish to change anything at this point we will arrange necessary selections appointments. Here we will now have the information required to present a fixed price contract. At TOHL Homes we never undertake too many jobs to maintain our working relationships, availability to clients and to keep our costs down. This is a benefit passed directly to you, the client. You can be assured you will receive a fair and accurate price for a quality job, completed on time.

After signing of all relevant documents and the fixed price contract, your project will be submitted to council. Any remaining selections appointments will be arranged and finalised before work commences on site.

Our greatest importance from beginning to end of your project is your absolute satisfaction. We love to hear your thoughts, concerns and praises. At no point should you hesitate to contact your supervisor or the team about anything.

We offer a weekly site visit, for you to catch up on what’s been happening and what’s coming up. We believe this stage should be as transparent as possible and encourage your involvement throughout.

All of our highly skilled trades have worked with us on many occasions and understand our demand for a quality job. We like to encourage trades to work on any house as if it were their own and pride ourselves on following through with this mentality.

During this important phase of your journey we hope you will take as much joy as we do from watching the concepts, design and planning come to life.

Completion.

Whenever we finish a job, from pouring the slab to fitting the kitchen sink we like to ‘simply stand back and have a look at it.’ This helps us deliver a job that we are truly proud of. We take as much pride in the overall package as we do in the smallest details of the entire build.

On completion you will be given the chance to walk through your new home and ask us any questions and point out any concerns which will be attended to promptly. Here we leave you with your new keys and some instructions for caring for your new home. You will be given a maintenance period where some things that may have gone unnoticed have come to your attention which we will do everything we must to attend to. Your new home is also covered by the industry standard structural warranty period.
